Water Damage Insurance
Insurance Claims: We work with you and bill directly all insurance companies using standard bluebook upfront pricing per insurance. It is homeowner’s duty in insurance policy to mitigate water damage immediately as to not cause any secondary damage by allowing water to sit. Secondary damage such as dry rot and mold, are not covered by most insurance policies. It is the insurance company’s obligation to get the homeowners property back to pre-existing condition or better. Your homeowner's insurance policy should cover such things as back-up, which often occurs in instances of heavy rainfall, appliance dishwasher, refrigerator, toilet, failure or malfunction, frozen / busted pipes, and possibly other select cases.
It usually does not cover sump pump failure, ejector pump failure, or a drain malfunction. This is usually an addendum that must be purchased, often under the reference of "Sewer & Drain Coverage."

WELCOME TO The WATER DAMAGE Process!
Step 1- Stay Calm. SAFETY first. Turn off all electricity at breaker.
Step 2- Identify your type of water damage. Category 1, 2, or 3.
Step 3- Truck Mount Extraction of standing water on carpet and hard flooring
Step 4- Disengage carpet and remove the padding.
Step 5- Remove baseboard from effected areas and treat wet walls. Depending on wetness of insulation in wall (if any) would determine if there will be any wall removal.
Step 6- Setting up the drying equipment consisting of Dehumidifiers, Blowers, and other specialized drying equipment to dry structure for the duration of approximately 3 days.

Types of Water Damage
Category 1 (Clean Water) -
Clean water that is visibly clear and possesses little or no odor. If you smell any type of fecal matter or urine, your water is either category 2 or 3. Common sources of category 1 water is water supply lines such as dishwasher lines, refrigerator / ice maker pipes, sink water lines, and hot water lines used for hot water home heating. Broken appliances such as a dishwasher or hot water heater also fall under the category of clean water.
Category 2 (Grey Water) -
Grey water is also visibly clear for the most part. However, it often has a slight to mild foul odor that is noticeable when in the affected area. This water damage must be treated with much more caution than the clean water mentioned above. Sources of category 2 grey water commonly include a failed sump pump or overflowed toilet.
Category 3 (Black Water) -
Black water is the most dangerous of all water damage. It is a filled with and is a breeding ground for harmful contaminants, including bacteria and mold producing organisms. All materials affected by black water damage must be handled with extreme caution, removed from the residence, and discarded of immediately. Black water commonly comes from failed ejector pumps, broken sewage lines, water from streams, rivers or seas, and any standing water. Any water with visible fecal matter is most definitely black water. Once again, all materials affected with black water must be carefully but promptly discarded.
